When I first got him

I was in the 6th grade at the time, and it was around spring time. I really wanted a kitten that was NOT tabbyed. A cat that was not like Mr. Sarah, that was tabby. So my mom got a hold of a lady that had kittens and she brought them over. And what did i see? All of them were tabbyed. They were one boy (Simba) and the rest were girls. That would of been 3 girls. We put them down in the kitchen and my mom told me to pick one out. I wanted the one that meowed alot. But my mother insisted on the one that was quiet. So of coarse, mothers win. We got the lil turd. Mr. Simba. I got to pick the name up. I was deep into watching Lion King. It just came out on VHS. And I loved the charcher Simba! So the name is Simba. The whole time we never got a picture of him as a kitten. Why? I dont know. It kinda bugs me to this day. But life moves on.

My Alarm Clock- Not there Anymore

Well I used to have my alarm clock as my licks. Ok my second alarm was simba. I hear my alarm go off. I lay there for another so so minutes. Simba crawl up look me and those sweet eyes below me on the bed. Slowly get closer to me and give me licks. Or it would I would roll over my head and I would knock him down off the bed. And he would give a meow like "hello Im here too ya know?" I miss him.

My Beautiful Cat

Wow it has been a couple a years since I had given up my cat because of due to allergies. I loved my cat Simba! I think of him all the time. When a cat is mentioned he pops up on my mind. eh? Could this be becuase i had cats all my life? Or because I miss him? Maybe the last one. When i met my husband. And we were in the mix of getting engaged I went and got an allery test. BAM! your allergic to cats. My husband who is too took him. So i could clear up at my house at my dads house where i was living at the time. Poor Simba he went thru shock. Not too bad. As steve left one day, he couldn't find him. We have a really tall piece of furniture and only 3feet to the ceiling is how tall this thing is (forgot the name). Simba hid up there. While Steve went outside called his name and ran around the house thinking this cat is gone. HAHA! And steve's idea he was going to tell me, "honey we found the cat a home". After we got married my mom took Simba and after a few months she no longer couldn't take Simba or her two other cats. Simba was already sick. He had blood in his stool. And being 9years old- my longest living cat ever. I held my baby while my mom held the other two cats healthy as can be. Walked in the pound and gave them up. I just hoped that fixed simba but if not they put him to sleep.
